It's always fun planning your baby shower. (Of course, it will be more fun if your friends plan it as a surprise for you!)

Surprise or not, you'll have a blast completing your baby shower's food menu and deciding on baby shower favors. Everything cute and in pastel colors would make nice baby shower favors I think. Just pick a favorite favor, create the theme and incorporate it through your invitations, color scheme and decors. Heart-shaped or little animal-shaped scented soaps, colored mint tins and little library notepads in blue or pink are some of the best sellers in this department.

If you are crafty enough, add a touch of 'labor of love' into your baby shower favors and make it yourself. Think of something that your guests will remember you by the most. Then if you already know the gender of your coming baby and have decided on a name, then add the baby's name into the baby shower favor for a unique touch.
